A Previous Virtual Church Message

We Are Seekers

We Are Seeking Truth

We are all members of the human race and we are all seekers.

Some of us are seekers on the first level.  We have lost our way in the fog and mist of life. We are seeking signposts and signs.

Some of us are seekers on the second level.  Even though there is fog and mist in life we have found the signposts but we cannot read the signs.

Some of us are seekers on the third level.  We have found the signposts and can sometimes read the signs but the truths they tell can leave us searching for more answers.

Some of us are seekers on the fourth level.  We have found all the signposts, we can fully read the signs, and we fully understand the truths they tell. As seekers on the fourth level we are content and we live in peace and harmony with God. However, we still seek because the answers we have found are but one grain of sand compared to all the grains of sand on earth. We live in continual praise to God for giving us a heart seeking truth.

We Are Seeking Proof

We are all members of the human race.

Some of us are seekers on the first level.  Because the fog and mist of life is so dense we do not believe in what we cannot see.

Some of us are seekers on the second level.  We are willing to believe in what we cannot see but we still need and want tangible evidence.  We must touch in order to believe.

Some of us are seekers on the third level.  We can begin to believe without proof or evidence but we still have lingering doubts.

Some of us are seekers on the fourth level.  We have seen, heard, and read the proof.  The evidence is stored in our hearts, minds, and souls, and the truth of the evidence sets us free. We have questions but we are rock solid in our faith because our faith rests upon our trust in God.

We Are Seeking The Right Path

We are all members of the human race.

Some of us are seekers on the first level.  We are so lost in the fog and mist of life we have lost sight of the path we should walk.

Some of us are seekers on the second level.  Some of the time we have the path of life in sight, but sometimes we are so overwhelmed by life we lose sight of the path.

Some of us are seekers on the third level.  Most of the time we have the path of life in sight and we have begun to surrender our wants and needs to God.

Some of us are seekers on the fourth level.  We can clearly see the path of God each day as we surrender ourselves up to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Although we can clearly see the path of God, we need help in walking in His direction. We clearly understand the path of God is a matter of who we are and what we do emerges out of who we are.

We Are Seeking Others

We are all members of the human race.

Some of us are seekers on the first level.  We can hear the voices of our brothers and sisters but cannot see the faces to go with the voices because the fog is so dense.

Some of us are seekers on the second level. Through the fog, sometimes we can see the faces accompanying the voices but sometimes the fog rolls in on us and we lose our sight of the faces of our brothers and sisters.

Some of us are seekers on the third level. We see the faces and hear the voices of our brothers and sisters. We see they are the sick, the poor, the downtrodden, and in their eyes we see a reflection of ourselves.

Some of us are seekers on the fourth level.  We see all the faces and hear all the voices of our brothers and sisters.  We also see Christ holds all of us in His arms and loves us beyond measure.

We Are Seeking Peace

We are all members of the human race.

Some of us are seekers on the first level.  We are both content and in turmoil because of the fog and mist of life.

Some of us are seekers on the second level.  We are more content than we used to be and some of our turmoil has melted away.

Some of us are seekers on the third level.  We are content in our lives but we yearn for more peace.

Some of us are seekers on the fourth level.  We possess a peace that passes all understanding.  Because we have this peace, we are strong enough to love the unlovable, touch the untouchable, and minister to those the world rejects.

We Are Seeking A Future

We all members of the human race.

Some of us are seekers on the first level.  We are surrounded by the uncertainties of life because the fog and mist does not permit us to see into our future.

Some of us are seekers on the second level.  We are more able to handle the uncertainties of life but there are still many uncertainties keeping us from clearly seeing ahead in our life.

Some of us are seekers on the third level.  We are confident in our life but we are still uncertain about our life after death.

Some of us are seekers on the fourth level.  We are confident of our future.  We are confident of an everlasting future in heaven.  To us, our future in heaven is a certainty.

We Are Seeking The Holy Spirit

We are all members of the human race.

Some of us are seekers on the first level. We are trying to grasp the wind but the wind escapes us.

Some of us are seekers on the second level.  We can feel the wind and can begin to capture the wind to make it our own.

Some of us are seekers on the third level. We have come to know the wind is the power of God’s love for us.

Some of us are seekers on the fourth level.  We have come to not only know the wind but we experience the wind in our life and we know the wind is the Holy Spirit. We have learned to walk with the wind at our backs rather than trying to walk against the wind.

We Are Seeking The Love of God

We are all members of the human race.

Some of us are seekers on the first level.  We are seekers of things we cannot see, hear, or touch.  The fog and mist of life blinds us, deafens us, and takes away our sense of touch.

Some of us are seekers on the second level.  We can begin to see the invisible, hear the faint, and touch the untouchable.

Some of us are seekers on the third level.  We can live and work in the world knowing the intangible which cannot be seen, heard, or touched could be filled with the Love of God although we have not yet experienced this Love.

Some of us are seekers on the fourth level.  We not only live and work in the world we also know the world is filled with the Love of God. The Love of God flows through us and overflows from within us.

We Are Seeking God

We are all members of the human race.

Some of us are seekers on the first level.  We have lost our way in the fog and mist of life.

Some of us are seekers on the second level.  We have begun to find our way out of the fog and mist.

Some of us are seekers on the third level.  Some of us have found our way out of the fog and we can see the face of God.

Some of us are seekers on the fourth level.  We have found God, and He is Jesus, the Son of the living God, and He is dying on the cross of Calvary to save us and so we may find eternal life.

The Seeker’s Affirmation

We believe in God the Father, infinite in wisdom, power, and love, whose mercy is over all His works, and whose will is ever directed to His children’s good. In our belief, we seek to know Him more.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Son of man, the gift of the Father’s unfailing grace, the ground of our hope, and the promise of our deliverance from sin and death. In our belief, we seek to know Him more.

We believe in the Holy Spirit as the divine presence in our lives, whereby we are kept in perpetual remembrance of the truth of Christ, and find strength and help in time of need. In our belief, we seek to know Him more.

We believe our faith should manifest itself in our service of love as set forth in the example of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ. We believe we should be instruments of our Lord and we should be witnesses of His love in us by being a humble servant in His kingdom upon the earth.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (KJV)

Matthew 7:7  Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: (KJV)
