Connections

Psalms 147:4 He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. 5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit. (NIV)

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day. 6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning--the second day. 9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good. 11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning--the third day. 14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. 16 God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning--the fourth day. 20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." 23 And there was evening, and there was morning--the fifth day. 24 And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (NIV)

All things, all thought, all people, all events, all time, all reality is connected. God created the fabric of our reality and stitched all things together in the process we call creation. When an event happens on one side of the world, there are ripples of that event on the other side of the world. There are ripples of that event not because we know about it, but because all of creation is connected. A rock thrown into a pond sends out ripples of energy and movement to every part of the pond. In the same way, events ripple out from the point of every event. All things, thoughts, people, events, and times are connected in this way because everything rests in the hand of God who created everything. The idea that all things are connected is not just some vague spiritual idea or concept. The science of ecology and earth science demonstrates countless times the interconnectedness of the innumerable ecosystems of earth.

The interconnectedness of all things can be thought of as if we live in a supernatural ocean. It is as if each person lives underwater and each person's life ripples out to all other points in the ocean. The pain and suffering of one life, even when others are not aware of it, ripples out and touches other lives. Beneath our supernatural ocean, lies a place of utter darkness where Satan has ultimate power. How we handle our own pain and suffering touches other lives. God is the sustainer of this ocean of our reality. Satan is the intruder. Satan tries to inflict damage and pain on us so we will collapse into the spiritual darkness beneath us.

God calls us to rise above the satanic darkness. Evil ripples out over the world because of the connections of all things. God calls us to a higher plane of life than the physical plane into which we are born. God calls us to a higher plane of life so we can overcome the darkness and overcome the influence of the darkness. When you think thoughts about the glory of God, these thoughts ripple out across our reality.

In this time and age, more people are being drawn into the darkness of the abyss. Only a few, only a remnant of persons, will survive the final assault by Satan. Many more persons than a tiny remnant can be saved from the darkness of the abyss, but these persons will not chose the Light of God in Christ.

We are nearing a point or an event in history where great decisions will be made by ordinary persons. Ordinary persons will decide for or against good and evil, God or Satan. These decisions will ripple out and touch the heart of God and determine the course of events in the world. These decisions will lay the foundations for the rest of humanity for the rest of history.

There will be pinnacle events that cause people to seek God or reject God. These pinnacle events will sort out the tiny remnant from the rest of humanity. Pinnacle events occur as a result of satanic attack but can be used for God in His sorting out process. Pinnacle events separate the wheat from the chaff. The undercurrent of evil in the world is about ready to manifest itself into a pinnacle event. At a pinnacle event, free will is permitted free reign so each person will clearly know the consequences of his or her actions.

Consequences of actions occur because all things in all of reality are connected. We are not aware of these connections or we reject them. Because all reality is connected, we must be kind, caring, and loving with each other. It is because of these connections that we must be aware of the reality of God and Satan.

Pinnacle events remove the façade or front people put on to convince others they are godly. There are pinnacle events in a person's life, in the life of nations, and in the life of the world. Pinnacle events occur as a result of the acceptance or rejection of God. There can be good pinnacle events and bad pinnacle events. The more people face God and do His will, the more spiritual power is made available in the world. The more people face God and do His will, the more the power of God via His connections accumulates or piles up. The more the power of God accumulates or piles up, the more the combined power of God manifests itself. The more the power of God manifests itself, the more Light there is in the world. In the same way, the more people reject God and turn away from Him, the more darkness there is in the world. As more people turn toward God, the more these connections to God combine to make God's power manifest in the world. As more people turn toward Satan or away from God, the more the power and influence of evil grows in the world. Because everything is connected, there is always a consequence to turning toward God or turning away from God and toward Satan.

Some people deny there is a God. Some people deny there is a consequence to actions. Some people deny there is any connection to God even when they admit there is a God. Some people deny there is a connection between persons, events, or places. This denial has resulted in the tiny remnant of God becoming smaller and smaller. The power and influence of God's tiny remnant has become smaller because the number of persons in the remnant has become smaller.

History is a testimony to the connections between turning toward God and turning away from God or toward Satan. In the years before WWII, many people in Germany and Europe were turning toward Satanic evil because of their fear, anxiety, greed, and lust for power. The devastation from WWII was the result. When the members of a family turn toward evil, then criminal behavior is likely, and imprisonment is likely to follow.

The connections and consequences of each life are profound. The connections and consequences of each life are profound because of the supernatural ocean or soup in which we live. The force of evil in the world is determined to win at any cost. The force of evil in the world is determined to win, even if all souls perish in order to win.

Every thought, every prayer, every yielding up of our spirit to God is crucial. We do not often see our connections to God, for the connections are supernatural. Yielding up to God strengthens His connection within our world. The ultimate destiny of the world is changeable in time and place but not in result. The destiny of the world has already been determined by God, but the time, place, circumstance, method, and path of reaching that result are dependent upon the connections and affiliations people make while they are alive.

In the world, as more and more nations prepare for war, there is a growing movement toward a quicker destructive end to the world. Power and influence in the world can be directed toward good or evil. The more preparations are made for war, the more war is likely.

In the family, the more family members prepare to argue with one another, the more likely the family will blow up in fights and arguments. Our preparations for war or peace in the world and our preparations for war or peace in our lives and in our home determine what will happen in the future.

Our dilemma as persons who love God is that we must chose to be persons of influence for God's good while still protecting the right of those persons younger than us to make free will decisions. Our motivation for preparing for war, if we prepare at all, should be to destroy evil and enhance good.

The evil person who loves satanic evil will claim that satanic evil is not evil. The godly person who loves God and His ways will claim satanic evil is indeed evil. No matter what claims are made, claims do not determine whether good or evil is good or evil. Whether a thought is good or evil is determined by how much of a connection the thought glorifies God.

When connections to God falter or are cut off, evil is the result. In preparing for war, persons and nations can lose their connections to God. In preparing for war, evil can come into the heart of the good and the just. War and preparing for war occurs because Satan wants it to occur. Our dilemma appears again, in that we must prepare for war even when we do not want to do so. What is in our heart as we prepare for war determines the outcome of war. In war, there is never a good outcome. In war, there is always a loss of life. In war, there is only an outcome of the lesser of evils.

The world stands either upon the precipice of catastrophe or upon the precipice of untold good and progress for the human race. Decisions made by persons who are unknown and unseen, the little people of the world, can profoundly effect the outcome of these times in which we live. As long as humanity wants or is willing to prepare for war, then war will come. As long as humanity wants or is willing to play evil games, then evil will come. As long as humanity wants or is willing to ignore or embrace evil, then evil will come and devastation will result. As we stand upon this precipice, our destiny as a world is more in our hands than it is in the hands of God…for He ordained that we could determine our ways and means. As we chose evil ways and means, the fate of our lives rests in the consequences of evil. As we chose the good ways or the ways and means of God, then our lives rest in the consequences of good or God. At this moment, the world is sliding into the abyss of evil and darkness.

The direction of your life, even as the world around you slides down into the abyss, can be determined by you. Even as the world crumbles, and even as your life connections crumble, you have the power and the choice of choosing God and His good will during the unwinding of events.

The great deception used by the power of darkness is that as persons, events, and times slide toward the abyss, we are no longer in control. This deception rings in the heart of humanity, and must be called for the deception that it is. The course of events in each person's life can be committed to doing the good work of God regardless of the evil taking place in the world at the time. The course of events in each person's life can be committed to shining the light and truth of God in the middle of the densest darkness. A tiny light from a person's life shines brighter in the enveloping darkness than does the light from a person's life in the noonday sun.

John 1:6: There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. 11 He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. 12 But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before me. 16 And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared Him. (KJV)

Precious Lord Jesus, call again to this reader. Reach out again to this reader's heart. No matter what the circumstances might be, reach through those circumstances and touch this person so they will hear you calling upon their life and heart. Amen.
