Our Current Virtual Church Message

The Meaning Of "All things"

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (NIV)

Jesus said "…with God all things are possible." So what is the meaning and how much is "all things?" The questions may not be so profound but the answers are profound. No Hollywood screen writer could ever create a script to fully communicate the power of God in the words "All things are possible with God." We must realize, no vision of some kind of alternate reality would be beyond the power of God to create. No hurt or disappointment could ever be felt exceeding the power of God to fix or heal. "All things" means the infinite. We cannot conceive of "All things" because our mind cannot stretch that far. On earth we could not live long enough to stretch our mind that far. "All things" means all the things never yet invented going on out into infinite time. What you consider "impossible" does not exist in the hands of God.

In the hands of God, death ceases to exist forever. In our present reality, death is a certainty, but with God, "All things" means everlasting life is a certainty.

"All things with God" means you achieve every goal, perfectly, every time. This sounds impossible, but remember, "all things" are possible.

There is no more aimlessness with God because "all things" means every action is purpose driven to the absolute successful end.

In "all things," efforts are as focused as an arrow flying to the exact center of its target.

In "all things," love dominates but not in earthly ways of understanding love. The love of God in heaven is totally and completely pure. There is no sin in "all things" so love exists of love's own accord, in love's own way, however love wants. God is love and God exists on His own, in His own way, however He wants to exist.

In "all things," giving is totally and completely fulfilled. On earth in the here and now, we say we give, we think we give, but we are children who do not know the total infinite love we call God. Giving in "all things" becomes an expression of God directly from Him and directly of Him.

In "all things," meanness in any of its forms does not exist.

In "all things," kindness becomes the greatest healing force coming from love.

In "all things," you have not even a shred of hate in any form.

In "all things," you never suffer any criticism, for in "all things" only support exists.

In "all things," you have no fear of making an effort.

In "all things," all fear is gone.

In "all things," you have continual movement and action, while at the same time you have continual rest and comfort.

In "all things," you have the power to work all day long and never grow tired, while at the same time, in "all things" you have total rest from the labors of the day.

In "all things," you have total belief with never a doubt of any kind.

In "all things," you have total trust with never a doubt of any kind.

In "all things," God brings total infinite help with never any hurt.

In "all things," you have the immensity of God's silence and the power of His voice.

In "all things," you have the power to speak as God wills you to speak and you also have the power to keep silent.

In "all things," you have the ability and power to talk to Christ directly, face to face, with no hint of any kind of barrier.

In "all things," you have the power to read His word and know the infinite dimensions of every word, thought, and phrase in His word.

In "all things," you have infinite fun lasting forever.

In "all things," there are infinite blessings and the power to give infinite blessings without any hindrance from any source.

In "all things," we have an unlimited capacity to share the Bread of Life without ever wanting to keep any part of Him for ourselves.
