TOPIC: LOVE FROM GOD

"We love because he first loved us." 1 John 4:19

AND BECAUSE

Lord, I feel so downcast and so unworthy,

Lord, I have been through so much in this life of mine
The trials, circumstances, and the family matters,
And with this life in general . . .Why do I feel so unworthy?

Lord, I think about how unworthy I am in this world, and
I feel like I’m always on the outside looking in,

I see others joyfully going about their lives and wonder why
I see others have so much joy and wish I could feel the joy too.
Is there something wrong with me, am I not doing right in you?

Lord, love so, But why is my inner most being so downcast?
Why do the trials and circumstances of this life overwhelm me?
Why do I feel so unworthy?

Lord, you know, I truly love you so, You know my heart.
Please show me why I feel so unworthy.

The Lord replied:

My Precious Child, I have seen your trials and
Circumstances. I have been there for every one.

At the times you felt you could not handle anymore.
I was the one who was holding your hand.

When those family matters arose in your life,
I was there to soothe your heart.
I am here and always will be for you, My Child.

When life handed you a raw deal,
I was there to calm you and walk you through.

When you felt like you were on the outside looking in,
You had me by your side looking in too, saying I am with you.

When you felt so unworthy, it was then that I embraced you, My Child.
Engulfed you with My love and with My Holy Spirit.

You Are Worthy, because I AM,
And because I DID,
And because I LOVED,
And because I DIED,
And because I ROSE,
And because I LIVE,
And because I SAY SO and THAT SETTLES IT!
