Psalm 90:12 Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. (NIV)

Wisdom is of little value unless it is applied. Even when wisdom is applied, using wisdom can be done for evil rather than for good. There is wisdom coming from the heart of God and there is wisdom coming from the heart of Satan. Sometimes we cannot tell the difference between the wisdom of good or evil. Some wisdom is neutral and waits for us to determine whether we will use the wisdom for good or ill. One of the key factors in determining what kind of wisdom we embrace is whether the wisdom brings love into our heart. Where there is no love there is darkness. The most important beauty of wisdom is we can choose how we will apply wisdom. We can choose to apply wisdom for God's glory. We can choose to apply wisdom to build up the kingdom of God. We can choose to apply wisdom to show others God loves them and cares for them.
