when we believe…
1 Peter 1:8 Though you have not seen
him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him
and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, (NIV)
We
have not seen Him, but if we did see Him, we would see His beauty. We have not
seen Him, but we are filled with joy because He lives. Although we have not seen
Him with our eyes, we have seen Him with our heart. In our heart, we understand
what He did for us. We understand while we are not worthy of His love because we
are sinners, He counts us as worthy. He counts us so worthy, He died for us. In
our heart, we believe. When we believe, we reach out to Him, as if we did see
Him. When we believe, He touches us, He blesses us, and we are filled with His
joy. When we believe, we are touched by His love and His presence. When we
believe, our spirit soars up to the stars and beyond. When we believe, all
things become possible. When we believe, all things become new. When we believe,
a new person is born and the old person passes away.
