About our connection to God…

1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. (NIV)

All of us have an innate connection to God. All of us are wired to God. All of us have supernatural wires going from us to God, just like we have physical wires in our house going to a power source. From our home, the electrical wires eventually end up at a generating plant, perhaps in some other region of the country. However, the wires we have going to God are not physical wires. The connections we have to God are spiritual connections. Unfortunately, just because we have an innate connection to God does not mean we use the connection. People who love the darkness want to do all they can to deny their connection to God. People who love the darkness even try to cut their connection to God. What is important for you to experience is the connectedness itself. Open up your heart to your innate connection to God and God is there. Open up your mind to the love God is and the love of God is there. To have a more vital and alive connection to God, talk to Him over your connection with Him. Before Christ came to us, we were lost and without a shepherd. When Christ appeared, we then had a way to connect to the real power of God because Christ was God.
