About
how Christ understands beyond our understanding…
John 4:6 Jacob's well was there, and
Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about the
sixth hour.
Jesus
was, in the body, a man who suffered. His divine nature did not keep Him from
suffering. What His own suffering did in the flesh was let us know how much He
understands beyond our understanding about what it means to be a human being. He
understands your physical pain and weariness. He understands the pain in your
heart. He understands the sorrow you carry.
We
do not worship a physical idol. We do not worship a set of ideas. We do not
worship an inanimate object. We do not worship an ordinary person. Instead, we
worship Christ…a caring, feeling, and understanding being of love. We worship
Christ who understands all there is about us. Christ walked the earth just as we
walk the earth. He felt pain and sorrow just like we feel pain and sorrow.
Christ suffered as no other person has suffered. So, if in your trials, when you
think no one understands, remember there IS someone who understands because He
understands.
