(NIV) In the darkness of this world, Christ provides each of us with a shining light of love and grace. In the darkness of this world, Christ will fill your heart with His immaculate joy. In your personal life lived out before God, the darkness has no power when Christ's love and light are shining within you. When you love God, He loves you back. When He loves you back, no event, no matter how bad, can change your inner joy and happiness for very long. When you love God, the dark power of the world is cast aside like the trash it is. In Christ and with Him, you can have peace, security, and happiness no matter how much the darkness tries to take you down.
