Prayer About Thanking God

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
When I see others, let me see you in them.
When I see the poor, let me see you walking amongst them and ministering to them.
When I see the poor, inspire me to reach out to them to help them find the richness of knowing your love.
Whatever I owe another person, enable me pay back double what I owe.
When someone owes me, enable me to cancel what they owe before they pay me back.
When I survey my life, let me count my blessings.
Let me see blessings each day I have never seen before.
When I survey my life, let me never count what I want or need.
Instead, let me count what you want or need from me.
In my poverty, help me see the richness of your love.
In my plenty, help me give who I am and what I have to soothe the ache and pain of others.
When I look back at my life, I remember when I was blind and you gave me sight.
When I look back at my life, I remember when I was deaf and you gave me hearing.
When I look back at my life, I remember when I was mute and you gave me speech.
Every hour I rejoice because you are my God.
Every hour I rejoice because you died to set me free.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
