A Prayer About When The Easy Way Is Not The Best Way

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I know I am selfish because I want my prayers answered and my needs met.
I know I am selfish because I expect the maximum from you.
I know I am selfish because I expect you to make my way easy, safe, and fun.
I keep hearing Satan whisper to me to take the easy way.
Because I am selfish, it is easy for me to commit a sin.
Because I am selfish, it is easy for me to take care of my business rather than taking care of your business.
In your love, give me the strength and courage to walk the hard path, and to take the hard way when the hard way is your way.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
