A Prayer About Loving Yourself As A Child Of God

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
There have been times in my life when I hated myself.
I hated who I was, what I was like, and where I was in my life.
This is stupid of me to do because I know I have a choice here.
I know I have a choice between feeling love or hate.
However, I get caught up in the mess life brings me.
I lose sight of you and your love.
If I ever do this again, please give me a little common sense to straighten me out!
Show me how much greater I will be and how much greater my life will be when I love who I am, love what I am, and love where I am in my life.
Show me all my dashed hopes, broken dreams, and crushing disappointments are not reasons to hate but are reasons to love because you are with me all the time.
When I have dashed hopes, show me the real hope of my life is in you.
Show me my hope in you is full, real, and will always come to pass.
When I have a broken dream, show me how all my dreams will come to pass millions of times over in the eternity of your love and grace.
When I have disappointments, show me how all my disappointments will be replaced with eternal joy and happiness.
