A Prayer About Living In Christ
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I try to do a lot of things on my own.
I like to do a lot of things on my own.
However, I cannot fly on my own without being in a plane or using some
other kind of mechanical means to lift me off the earth.
To fly, I need help.
If I was honest, and if I could see my life like you see my life, I know I
would say I could do nothing without you.
I take my living and my breathing for granted.
I have always lived and always breathed.
In your love and in your grace, help me always remember I live and I
breathe because you will for me to live and breathe, not because of
anything I do on my own.
In your love and in your grace, help me always remember I live in the palm
of your nail-scarred hand.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
